What is a football scholarship?
Washington State’s football program has a total of 14 scholarships available to incoming players.
The Huskies are one of the top schools in the Pac-12 in terms of total scholarships.
There are four football scholarships available for each student, and all four are for the football team.
For the 2017 class, the Huskies have five scholarships available.
These scholarships are the following: The full-time football scholarships for the 2017 football class are: The Husky Scholar-Athlete Scholarship: $8,000 for the 2019-20 season, the 2021-22 season, or the 2022-23 season.
The Cougar Scholar-Academic Scholarship: The Cougars are a team of highly-ranked students who are part of a successful academic program and who receive full-tuition scholarships.
The Scholar-Bowl Scholarship: A full-year scholarship for each of the 2019 and 2020 football seasons.
The football scholarship that is not offered for the Cougar football program can be earned by the student who enrolls in the football program for the 2018-19 academic year and has been in the program for one year.
The full athletic scholarship is a $2,500 financial aid package that includes tuition, fees, room and board, books, and travel for the student.
