Clemson’s offensive line coach is on leave, Auburn football’s recruiting class falls in 2018

Clemson’s Offensive Line coach, Joe Mixon, has been placed on leave.

Mixon had been hired as the Tigers’ offensive line coordinator earlier this season.

He has been on leave since March 3, according to a memo released by the university.

“After careful consideration and discussions with the university, it is with great sadness that I have decided to part ways with the program and the Auburn football program,” Mixon wrote.

“I want to thank the Auburn staff and all of the Auburn players, coaches, staff, alumni, fans, and the fans of Auburn for all the support and encouragement during my tenure.

Auburn is the best program in the country, and I will miss it deeply.”

Mixon is also a graduate assistant for Auburn’s graduate assistants program.
