Why is UCLA football losing more fans?
By CINCINNATI BEARCAAT NFL, LUSAKA BEAR CAVALIER, LUCAS OLIVE THE BEAR, LUCKY PICKS, LUGANS FAVORITE TEAMS, TUESDAY MORNING SECONDARY BILL The Los Angeles Rams are losing fans on the road.
So is the Tennessee Titans.
How can they explain their dismal home record when the fans are flocking to the Big Easy?
“We’ve got to figure out a way to get some people back to the stadium,” coach Jeff Fisher said.
The Los Angelos Rams lost at home to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, their 10th straight loss.
The team also has lost to USC on the home field.
The Titans (9-5, 7-3 Pac-12) have dropped seven straight at home, including a 17-0 loss at home last week.
The home team is in the middle of a three-game losing streak, the longest in the league.
“It’s a little frustrating, but we have to keep playing,” Titans quarterback Jake Locker said.
“We can’t get complacent and not get back on track.
We have to go play like we are.”
The Tennessee Titans have lost five of their last six at home.
They also have dropped their last three at home against the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.
The Saints (8-5) have won four of their past five games at home and have won five straight overall.
“They’re the best in the game right now,” Titans running back Corey Grant said.
“(Their) defense is a little bit tough, so you have to be a little careful with those types of defenses.”
The Titans lost linebacker Dontari Poe to a broken leg in the third quarter.
The Tennessee defense is ranked No. 1 in the NFL and No. 6 in the AFC.
It ranks third in yards allowed per game and fourth in interceptions.
“I just hope that the defense continues to play at a high level,” Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said.
Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger is 8-for-10 for 94 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Arizona Cardinals (8.5-2, 6-3) have been inconsistent at home but have been outscored by an average of 14.8 points at home this season.
Arizona was ranked No, 12 in the country in the preseason and has been ranked No., 14.
“This is a tough one, but at the same time, we have a chance to get back to winning ways, especially if we’re able to play better,” Arizona head coach Bruce Arians said.
Arizona has lost six straight at Candlestick Park.
Arizona is 10-4 in its last 13 games at Soldier Field, including four straight against teams with winning records.
“You’ve got a good team that’s not playing as well as it has at home,” Arians added.
And if you can win, you’ll win a lot.”
