What the hell happened with Oklahoma football’s national championship chances?

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops has a lot to say about Oklahoma’s disappointing season, and a lot of reasons why.

But he also says, well, he’s just not here to talk about it.

It’s not that he’s not trying.

Stoops, the fifth coach in college football history to win a national championship with the Sooners, has the Big 12’s best record and he’s looking to do the same again in 2017.

He’s not worried about the expectations for the season.

He’s not going to be here to brag about the season, either.

He won’t be here for bragging rights.

He says it’s not about his job security.

He doesn’t want to be.

He says he can do anything.

And he says he doesn’t need to be in front of a microphone or the nation.

He just wants to focus on his team and be successful.

Stoopes is not a politician.

He isn’t trying to please the public.

He wants to win.

And so, as a man who has never won the national title, it’s time for the media to pay attention.

What happened in 2016?

Oklahoma won a title in four years for the first time in program history.

Stoop won the first game in a season.

His teams had won four straight games and four of five.

And while that streak was a stretch, the Soonos had no choice but to move on to a rematch with Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, a game that would be the last to be played at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

And in the first of many games in which Stoops had to get the ball out quickly, the Cougars held them to just five points in the second half.

They were able to go on to win the next four games in a row, then won four of their final five and the Heisman Trophy.

But in the last two games, Oklahoma went on to lose to Auburn and Texas Tech.

It was the culmination of an 11-year stretch where the Soonies had won five of six and had lost two games in succession.

They also won six games in each of the next two seasons and a bowl game in the 2011 season.

After that stretch, there was no turning back.

The Sooners won the Heisman again in 2016 and finished in the top four for three straight years before losing a title game to Alabama and losing to Oklahoma in the final.

And after that, they were in a perfect position.

Stopping was the only way to end it.

Oklahoma is a Big 12 school that will play in the Peach Bowl in 2017, and the season has been dominated by the game.

Stoels team has been the most explosive in the conference.

Stoople has been one of the best coaches in the nation for the last three years.

He was the first coach to win back-to-back national championships with the Tigers and has won five national championships.

His job security is no longer in question.

Oklahoma is a program that has had enough, and is willing to give up the next step.

The only way they can win now is to make a big play in January, when the SEC Championship Game takes place.

But they need to win in March and April to have a chance.

They need to move the chains in the SEC West, where the teams are ranked 12th, 12th and 14th, respectively, in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

The Sooners will then host Auburn in Birmingham on Saturday.

The two teams are expected to battle for the SEC title, but it’s unclear if Stoops or Alabama will be able to win this game, as both teams are projected to be ranked No. 1 or No. 2 in the preseason AP poll.
