Why Kansas State is going to win Big 12 title

Kansas State football is going places.

The K-State football team just won the Big 12 Conference title.

The program won the conference title for the fifth time since 2010.

This was the first time since 2006 that the Jayhawks were the conference champion in the Big Ten.

The Jayhawks are now in the NCAA tournament for the first and only time since 2011.

K-State beat Oklahoma on the road in the national semifinal game of the Big XII championship game.

The Sooners were coming off a 23-20 victory over West Virginia in the title game of Big 12 Tournament.

Kansas State quarterback Justin Thomas threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns, the most ever by a Jayhawk in the final minute.

The final score was 62-58.

This is the first NCAA Tournament appearance for the Jayhawk since the 2010 championship game win over Oklahoma.

Kansas’s next game is the Big Sky Conference championship game on March 14.

The Big 12 champion is going up against the champion of the SEC and the conference’s No. 1 seed in the ACC.

Kansas will play at No. 9 seed Clemson on March 22.
